Inwood Home of The Week: Revisiting The Homes That Rocked 2025
Share News:

As we approach the end of 2025, it’s essential to reflect on all the reasons this year was so remarkable. In the last 12 months, we experienced some unforgettable moments. We sent Katy Perry to space, welcomed a new pope, and witnessed one of the world’s most elaborate art heists. Of course, around here, there have been some remarkable real estate headlines as well.
With help from our partners at Inwood National Bank, we’ve covered all manner of majestic properties. From imaginative makeovers to innovative builds, Inwood Home of the Week has delivered truly exquisite home explorations. Here, we’re highlighting a handful of our favorites to remember why this year rocked in real estate.
A Revolutionary Designer Reimagines a Classic

One of our favorite designers, Adriana Meyer, made another notable splash in 2025. Among her best works was a Lake Highlands remodel that combined modern luxury with ultimate livability. As we pull this highlight reel together, we’d be remiss not to include this incredible home.
A Serene Listing With a Storybook Look

We don’t see many Mediterraneans in North Texas. However, we were pleasantly surprised when Jenny Gamble with Russell Trenary Realtors turned us on to this meticulously maintained European-style standout in Walnut Hill Ridge. With a timeless look and elevated interior, this home easily made our list of top homes.
A One-Of-A-Kind Retreat Offers A Rare Look Inside

It’s hard to pick a favorite with so many head-turning homes to choose from. However, this Mount Pleasant classic might just be a top contender for 2025. A former favorite destination for Lady Bird Johnson, this sprawling midcentury modern retreat hit the market in July to offer a rare inside peek.
A Contemporary Take on a Classic Farmhouse

In terms of sheer imagination, this modern farmhouse made the top of our list. Inwood Home of the Week regular Cliff Kessler with Allie Beth Allman & Associates turned our attention to this innovative build, which instantly evoked interest for its inviting personality and incredible take on traditional design.
An ’80s Beauty Takes a Bold New Direction

Combining a classic foundation with a stunning new interpretation, this 1980s remodel was one of our favorite explorations in the last 12 months. Nestled in the mature Merriman Park neighborhood, this home brought a bold new vision to one of Dallas’s most beloved communities.
All Thanks to Inwood National Bank
Of course, we couldn’t have covered these incredible homes without the help of our partners at Inwood National Bank. Since 1964, this Dallas institution has remained an independent, locally-owned, community bank focused on fostering a strong working relationship with its customers. We’re proud to support the work they do in helping local homeowners realize their real estate goals.
