If you’re not familiar with Kessler Woods, you should take a drive through one of Dallas’ most architecturally significant neighborhoods. If you have not seen Buchanan’s residential architecture like Cube House, Casa Linder, or Sunrise House, you can stroll through the Dallas Arboretum to enjoy local chefs at the Charlotte and Donald Test Pavilion, which he designed.

“I think he thinks of a house as a living piece of sculpture,” said David Griffin, listing agent, of Buchanan. “He doesn’t compose just from the street level; it’s very three-dimensional.”
When you approach 709 Kessler Woods and cross the entryway bridge, it’s easy to see what Griffin means. Looking down from the bridge, you can see the stunning patio and pool area. The rectangular pool crosses beneath the bridge like a river.
