Lawn Chairs Ready? 20 North Texas Fireworks Shows to Celebrate Independence Day
Share News:

Fireworks on July 4th are as American as mom, apple pie and the stars and stripes.
But want to guess as to how many people who get caught up in the excitement of celebrating America’s birthday also end up getting injured? Too many is the answer, and it’s enough the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission keeps stats on this. In 2024, there were an estimated 1,700 emergency room visits for sparklers alone. Anyone else remember kids walking on them in bare feet?
Here’s an alternative: let the professionals handle it. If you play your cards right, you can even spread the fun out for a couple of days. In the interest of public safety, CandysDirt.com has compiled a list of celebrations where the pros light up the sky. Or like several cities’ social media pages posted, “Unless your name is the City of __, no fireworks are permitted.”
Be sure to visit your respective city’s website for more info and what’s allowed at the celebration.
