The first residential development to open in the Arlington Entertainment District held an exclusive ribbon-cutting event last Wednesday to show visitors (and some Texas Rangers) the luxury apartments that just came online courtesy of The Cordish Companies.

One Rangers Way, a high-end community boasting resort-tier amenities at 1200 Nolan Ryan Expy, comprises 43,000 square feet of modern urban design with a sports-themed flair. Some 300 units come in a variety of floor plans and sizes, ranging from studios to penthouse apartment homes, as previously reported by CandysDirt.com.

The grand opening was co-hosted by The Cordish Companies and the Texas Rangers, whose Globe Life Field sits just a short walk away from the development.

Sportscaster Eric Nadel was in attendance, as were Texas Rangers Hall of Famers Jeff Russell and Jim Sundberg, among others. The celebrity turnout was more than appropriate considering the development is full of Rangers memorabilia and artwork.

“One Rangers Way embodies the spirit of the Rangers, blending modern luxury with the team’s history in an unmatched way,” said Rangers executive vice president and chief business officer Jim Cochrane, according to a press release. “We are thrilled to offer residents a lifestyle that celebrates excellence, tradition, and the vibrant energy of Arlington’s Entertainment District.”

Some of the newly opened luxury development’s amenity highlights include a Zen garden, valet dry cleaning service, and a resort-style pool with a swim-up bar offering a clear view of AT&T Stadium. For social gatherings, the property maintains grilling areas, a private event room, and a high-end bar and game lounge.

Anyone looking to get in shape and take a crack at the big leagues may want to consider securing a unit at One Rangers Way to take advantage of its 2,000-square-foot fitness center. The residential community also comes with a fully tricked-out business center.

Pet owners will also find themselves more than welcome as the development has no breed restrictions and features a “paw spa” and on-site dog walking services. There’s also no shortage of outdoor connectivity. One Rangers Way has direct access to Richard Greene Park and Dr. Robert Cluck Linear Park.

“With this building, we have delivered a truly exceptional community that offers an amenity-rich lifestyle and unique opportunity to live steps away from iconic venues and attractions,” said Blake Cordish, principal of The Cordish Companies, per the press release. “Today’s milestone is an important step in cementing Arlington as a world-class mixed-use destination for decades to come.”

Arlington has been doing alright for itself as an entertainment destination. In addition to being home to the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys, the metroplex’s third-largest city also features Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, Texas Live!, Levitt Pavilion, the International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame, and the planetarium at the University of Texas at Arlington.

“One Rangers Way will truly deliver a one-of-a-kind living experience in the heart of our entertainment district, and we are grateful for our partners’ continued investment in Arlington,” Mayor Jim Ross said at last week’s event, per the press release.
