Buy This Daria Drive Estate and You Can Be W’s Neighbor!

If you have not been living under a rock, you’ll know Daria Drive is home to former President George W. Bush. He’ll be your neighbor if you buy this fabulous French country estate at 10111 Daria Drive. It’s also the safest street in Dallas. The Secret Service may be there to protect the former president, but you can bet they look out for the neighbors. We have it on good authority that Mr. Bush kept an eye on the progress when this 7,031-square-foot custom home was being built. And no, we can’t reveal who told us. This estate was completed in 2014 and has so many defining features; it’s hard to pick a favorite. From the exposed bricked and beamed dining room ceiling and bar tiles reclaimed from a French castle to the antique doors repurposed on closets — character and detail is around every corner. Holder is partial to the powder bath in the pool loggia. “It has a blue tiled ceiling, and it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.”

We’re pretty entranced with the living room’s vaulted ceilings, limestone fireplace, and the wall of French doors leading out to the pool. There’s even a balcony overlooking this room from a second-floor gallery.

The kitchen defines cozy with a brick fireplace angled into the corner. It’s the perfect spot for cracking open a nice vintage bottle of bubbly — easy to find in the walk-in wine closet — while dinner is being whipped up on the lovely Wolf range.

This Daria Drive estate has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two powder baths. The master suite on the first level also overlooks the pool and has an attached study and exercise room. The remaining three bedrooms are on the second floor.
