Two prestigious 2022 RealTrends rankings of the United States’ top-performing real estate agents and teams were just released, and the Dallas-based Perry-Miller Streiff Group took home top honors once again.

The prestigious real estate news organization ranked Perry-Miller Streiff Group the No. 1 medium-sized team in Dallas and the No. 2 team in Texas, based on 2021 transaction sides and sales volume. It’s the second consecutive year that the Perry-Miller Streiff Group has been ranked No. 1 and 2 respectively.

In addition, the Perry-Miller Streiff Group ranked No. 27 in the United States, their highest-ever national rank.

The RealTrends + Tom Ferry “The Thousand” and “America’s Best” are real estate’s most highly anticipated national and state rankings respectively. The Colorado-based real estate news organization categorizes the nation’s top producers by the number of Realtors they have on their teams — small (2-5 licensed members), medium (6-10), and large (11-plus) teams.

The Perry-Miller Streiff Group, based in the Dallas Preston Center office, is a group of real estate agents within Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, a division of Ebby Halliday Companies. The Perry-Miller Streiff Group is led by the eponymous broker Dave Perry-Miller and top producing agent Ryan Streiff. Team members also include Laura Michelle, Karen Fry, Jamie Kohlmann, Jason Bates, Courtney Jubinsky, Lance Hancock, and Charles Gregory.

For those who may be unfamiliar, a real estate team like Perry-Miller Streiff is a group of licensed real estate agents within a brokerage who work together for clients. If a client’s agent is unavailable, they can contact any team member for assistance with various elements of the home buying/selling process.

Streiff credits this team approach as a factor in their success.

“We pride ourselves on having many seasoned agents available for our clients,” Streiff says. “With this sized team, anyone can be available for showings. Each agent is experienced and knowledgeable enough to really understand the home and the neighborhood for the client. There’s no need to circle back with answers to client questions — they know the answers on the spot.”

The dynamic team of successful agents has been on a meteoric rise in recent years.

Just six years ago, Perry-Miller Streiff was breaking its own records with $100 million of real estate sold. By 2020, the Perry-Miller Streiff Group closed $125 million in real estate, earning them a No. 54 rank on the national RealTrends list. In 2021, the team ranked No. 49 nationwide with real estate sales totaling $169.5 million. One of those homes sold in 2021 was this Georgian mansion at 3525 Beverly Drive, which we named one of the top five Sweetest Homes in Dallas-Fort Worth.

This year, they reached their highest-ever national ranking at No. 27 with a whopping $310.8 million in total sales, the result of a white-hot real estate market and multiple high-profile sales of prestigious homes in and around Dallas.

Every year, RealTrends partners with the Wall Street Journal to rank the top sales professionals — consulting with brokerages, gathering data, and serving as an information clearinghouse for more than 300 U.S. real estate brokerages. The list recognizes the top 0.065% of more than 1.6 million licensed Realtors across the country based on 2021 data.

The Perry-Miller Streiff Group’s formula for success is teamwork.

“Collaboration is at the heart of who we are,” he says. “We have high-producing agents that are highly connected in the community. We spread the word and help each other out with overlapping spheres of influence in the community. We play off one another’s strengths — that’s been our formula.”
