Cozy Up With These Winter Accessories From Amazon

We searched Amazon for the best ways to cozy up when the weather is … unfriendly and now we’re sharing them with you. Note: CandysDirt.com may collect a small commission or other compensation (Bezos hug) from the links on this page. Items are priced correctly and in stock at time of publication.

Y’all, it’s cold! At least today it is. And no, I haven’t consulted Pete Delkus about what’s coming next. If I do, the forecast might say it’s heating right back up next week and thus, we’ll need none of these items, and I will have to start over. I just can’t with that right now. It’s cold. Here’s a list of go-to gadgets and gear to cozy up with for however long this lasts.

Plug In and Cozy Up

Sunbeam Heated Throw Blanket

Price: $39.99

My sister-in-law gifted me one of these bad boys several Christmases ago and if I weren’t worried about tripping and fire hazards, I’d turn it into a poncho and wear it around the house. Forget that I’d need the mother of all extension cords. I’d find a way. As it is, though, it’s pretty great for camping out on the sofa with a book or your newest Prime or Netflix binge (CHEER is so, so good). It’s throw sized, not twin, so if the rest of the family wants in on your little couch paradise, it’s going to be a tight fit. Get it here.

What buyers are saying: I’ve had mine for (let me count) eight years now and it still does its job. So I’m a bit surprised to read a few reviewers say theirs crapped out much sooner. I’m a little *less* surprised when some of those reviews say they simply needed to be unplugged and plugged back in to work again. Rookie mistakes! Not that I’m calling anyone out (ahem, GiseleS).

Not Overreacting at ALL

Venustas Women’s Heated Jacket with Battery Pack

Price: $129.99

This right here would be living the dream. With how wimpy I am about the cold, you’d never suspect I spent several winters in Boston and just as many in New York City. Texas has made me weak. So weak, I’d wear this baby out to get the mail and not feel remotely silly. I know someone who uses a coat like this on the regular as a member of a private security detail and he gave it two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Grab your piece of the dream here.

What buyers are saying: Buyer (and top-notch boyfriend) Steven Allen says, “I bought this for my girlfriend because she hates being cold and she absolutely loves it.”

Get on Fluffy’s Good Side (For a Hot Second)

K&H Pet Products Thermo-Kitty Heated Cat Bed

Price: $44.99

You know who else is cold? Your mean old cat (and probably your nice cat, but we seem to only do the grouchy kind in this house). I read once that cats prefer an ambient temperature of 86 degrees. So, you’re failing Fluffy. Appease the feline gods with this heated bed, and she might not pee in your laundry basket. Get Fluffy’s bed here.

What buyers are saying: Buyer Titanium Jackal made me laugh out loud. This guy gets cats. “If our house was on fire and she only had enough time to drag one of us to safety, she’d rescue the bed.”
