After several months of extensive renovations, the timeless home at 3808 Cedarbrush Drive is now complete and ready for the right buyer. Designed by Demo Dallas’ Jessica Koltun and renovated by TK Homes, it is sure to attract plenty of attention.

“We wanted to make the home more what buyers in the area are looking for,” Koltun said.

Originally built in 1968, the home has been completely gutted and remodeled. Its layout was also reconfigured to add additional space. The now 2,900-square-foot home features five bedrooms and four baths. The impressive living room has a vaulted ceiling, large fireplace, and a bonus room to the side separated by a barn-style door.

Under the original configuration, the master bathroom door the opened into the hall, providing less-than-ideal privacy in the master bedroom area. During renovations, the home’s original garage was converted into a new master suite. Also added were a new master bath, closet, powder room, laundry room, and mudroom as well as a new garage.

Original bathrooms…

…and remodeled bathrooms

“Before, the bedrooms were really small and you really didn’t have a defined master,” Koltun said. “We thought it was really important to add a true master suite.”

As she typically does with any home she designs, Koltun said she tried to picture how the buyer would actually live in the space before g formulating a design. The goal is always to make things more efficient and functional.

“You always want to have that vision throughout so that it really become a home they can use and enjoy.”

Kitchen highlights include a gas range, quartz countertops and plenty of storage space. There aren’t many homes like this on the market in Northwest Dallas. Don’t be surprised to see this one snatched up fast.
