3065 Kinkaid AToday’s Tuesday Two Hundred is a completely updated 1969 house, with a package of appealing features in an up-and-coming neighborhood.

The home at 3065 Kinkaid Dr. is located in Bradford Estates near Webb Chapel Road and Walnut Hill Lane in Northwest Dallas. It’s an easily accessible area with lots of houses from the 1950s and 60s, friendly atmosphere, and wide, green yards.

This house itself has eye-catching curb appeal, with a one-year-old class-4 standing seam metal roof, unusual to spot on a home priced well under $300K. Metal roofing is increasing in popularity because of its sleek look, as well as for being lightweight, strong, fire resistant, energy efficient, and, with the class 4 rating, hail resistant (many insurance carriers offer a discount for this kind of roof—bonus!).3065 Kinkaid COther features: all new windows, new HVAC system, new appliances, hardwood floors, a fire glass fireplace, lovely landscaping, swimming pool, and a hot tub under a covered patio.

This home is a 3-2 with 1,815 square feet, listed Nov. 14 by Shae Nault with Keller Williams DFW Metro Areas for $249,900, and it was reduced on the 20th to $244,900.

Casa Linda homeCasa Linda is one of East Dallas’ treasured neighborhoods. The houses in this area are generally on half-acre and larger lots, almost all built in the 1940s and 1950s, just east and south of White Rock Lake. You’ll find a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, lots of mature shade trees, winding roads, and close proximity to the Dallas Arboretum and the historic Casa Linda Plaza.

Today’s Tuesday Two Hundred is located at 1735 Crowberry Dr., near Peavy and Oates. It’s a 3-2 with 1,576 square feet and charm to spare. Casa Linda homeThis cutie was built in 1958 and is pretty inside and out, with lovely curb appeal, a well-appointed interior, and nice backyard. It’s less than two miles from White Rock Lake and offers easy access to downtown, too.

This home was listed last week by Kerry Slaughter with Paradise Slaughter Real Estate for $235,000. It went under contract in two days, so let’s take a look before this one is off the market.

lake highlands homeToday’s Tuesday Two Hundred will leave you amazed that so many high-end amenities and thoughtful details are available in a Lake Highlands home for under $300K.

The house at 10006 Chimney Hill Ln. is located in the Country Forest-Jackson Meadows neighborhood, about as far north as you can go in Lake Highlands before bumping into Richardson. This is outside the LBJ loop, and for some, that’s a deal breaker. But I promise, once you see this house, you won’t care. (And really, it’s fewer than ten minutes to White Rock Lake and  NorthPark Center, minutes away from the Richardson Tech Corridor, and only 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas. Perspective, y’all.)

3725 Pageant Place

Interstate 635 is a 37-mile-long partial loop around Dallas, but for some Dallasites, it’s a magical dividing line only crossed with great protest. The area located “outside the loop” is considered a vast no man’s land full of scary things, like suburban malaise and way too many Olive Gardens.

For those who subscribe to that sentiment, today’s Tuesday Two Hundred won’t be frightening at all. The house at 3725 Pageant Pl. is a 4-2 located inside the loop near Marsh and Forest lanes, newly listed by Hanne Sagalowsky at Ebby Halliday’s Little White House office for $239,900.

This 1965 ranch is on a cul-de-sac and has 1,805 square feet, a good-sized backyard with mature trees, and a stone patio covered by a large pergola and a spa hot tub.

Twin Tree Lane Front

Let me tell you, when I look around for interesting luxury properties to feature on our Monday Morning Millionaire spot, I often get a surprise. Take this Lakewood Soft Contemporary for example. Built in 1956,  it has three bedrooms, two full and two half baths, and a hot tub inside. Yeah, that hot tub is inside the house. And a steam room. Amazing.

7231 Twin Tree Spa

This is a new one for me. Usually, yes, you see the spa right next to the pool outside. If I want an indoor hot tub session or a good sauna, I go to King Spa off Royal and I-35. If that trek seems like too much for you, than 7231 Twin Tree Lane is right up your alley.

7231 Twin Tree Living

Of course, there’s much more to this Green Cove Estates one-story. It’s one block from White Rock Lake, it’s in the Lakewood Elementary attendance zone, and it has some amazing landscaping that will keep you feeling zen just by stepping outside. Priced at $1.1 million, it’s a great buy considering all of the updates and the gorgeous kitchen.

7231 Twin Tree Kitchen

With almost 4,000 square feet of space, you won’t be elbow-to-elbow at the next luncheon you host, that’s for sure. And with an open floor plan, you’ll be entertaining crowds for just about every occasion.

7231 Twin Tree Master

Another bonus is the private feel of the lot, which is just larger than half an acre. That’s perfect considering all of the huge picture windows throughout the main living areas. You can see the water features and lush landscaping in the comfort of air conditioning. That’s my cup of tea!

7231 Twin Tree Master BathSo if you’re feeling stressed, perhaps this house is for you. Go ahead and give Keller Williams agent Larry Tate a call. And then maybe schedule a massage. You deserve it!
