Hi Candy and Jo,

I’m a casting producer for a new HGTV HOME RENOVATION pilot that will be hosted by local Fort Worth HGTV Flip or Flop stars Andy and Ashley Williams. We’re reaching out to lenders, brokers, realtors, bloggers in the DFW area who may know of people or have clients who would love the opportunity to not only get the home renovation of their dreams but also appear on HGTV!

To be eligible to be on the show, you must:

  • Home MUST be a ‘fixer upper’ or in need of a major renovations
  • Have a minimum renovation budget of $60,000
  • Renovation must include: kitchen, dining room, living room and front exterior (a master bedroom, backyard or a bathroom could be added if the budget is big enough)

If selected, the renovation will help drive their mission!

Flip or Flop It’s been a lot of fun watching and recapping “Flip or Flop Fort Worth.” I love the fact that Andy and Ashley Williams work with a lower price point than most shows, but their homes still feel sophisticated and gorgeous.

And their dynamic is great, too. I mean, for real, have you watched how Andy sits there and looks at Ashley when she is explaining something to the camera? It’s adorable. (more…)

flip or flop fort worthIn the next-to-last first-run episode of Flip or Flop Fort Worth, we get a peek at the bustling community of River Oaks, where Andy and Ashley Williams find a foreclosure with great bones and plenty of room.

But first, as usual, we have some reader mail to answer. (more…)

We have one more episode of Flip or Flop Fort Worth in 2017, and Ashley and Andy Williams pull out a whole lot of stops on an adorable Arlington Heights Cape Cod-style cottage in this week’s episode.

But before we get to this week’s episode, we have some letters to answer. (more…)

This week’s Flip or Flop Fort Worth proves that a house can appear to be in great shape, only to find that something pricey lurks behind a wall or under the floor.

But before we start our recap of FOFFW, we have some reader mail to answer. (more…)

Ready for another recap of Flip or Flop Fort Worth? After more than a month of episodes, I can honestly say that of all the Flip or Flop shows, Ashley and Andy Williams are probably my favorites — and not just because they’re in the DFW area.

Their backstory is so appealing, their commitment to fellow veterans is wonderful, and they are just so much fun to watch.

Before we begin, I’ll answer some reader questions (as usual). (more…)

Andy and Ashley Williams took on a Hurst fixer that needed a lot of love in this week’s “Flip or Flop Fort Worth” (photo courtesy HGTV).

I have to say that one of my favorite things about doing these “Flip or Flop Fort Worth” recaps has been getting all this great feedback from readers — especially the requests to help suss out what finishes were used in specific projects.

Last week, we switched gears and recapped the first episode of the last season of “Fixer Upper,” and we got some great questions (we’ll be circling back at the end of the season to recap the finale).

I’m still running down a couple of questions from last week — I’m working on that wallpaper, Jennifer — but I’ve been able to find either the exact item or something that can help duplicate the look (although I’ll keep looking, of course). (more…)

Ashley

Ashley and Andy Williams transformed a Burton Hills home in this week’s “Flip or Flop Fort Worth” but not without some drama (Photo courtesy Ashley and Andy Williams).

Not to brag, but I’m getting pretty good at finding tile since Flip or Flop Fort Worth launched — I may no longer remember my own phone number, but I have become adept at scouring the Internet for our readers, identifying tile by sight.

Last week, I found the gorgeous vintage-looking tile from the bathroom in the first episode (I’ve subsequently further narrowed it down to a stateside source). Reader Jana gave me another tile to hunt for this week — from the same episode.

“Is there any way to find out what the name of the tile is that they used around the fireplace on the first episode of The Flip or Flop Fort Worth series?” Jana wrote. “I would just certainly appreciate it so much if I could get that information or be told where I can go to find the information myself. Thank you so much in advance and I’m keeping my fingers crossed!” (more…)
