Frisco continues its rapid growth, adding around 37 new residents every day, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It’s one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, they reported in May.

That makes real estate in this affluent northern suburb a hot ticket and luxury housing does quite well in Frisco — high-end, gated communities with great amenities are where a lot of those sales are happening.

When buyers are looking in Frisco, they need an expert with local presence and years of experience, like Ebby Halliday Realtors. They have an office in Frisco at Legacy Drive and State Highway 121 and many of their agents live nearby. They can navigate the market with assurance.

I’ve found three luxury properties represented by Ebby Halliday in those gated communities — one even has an open house this weekend.

Some of the most dynamic and fast-moving real estate listings in DFW are found in the northern suburbs. One of those areas is the city of Frisco, a destination for luxury buyers looking to find newer houses, fantastic public schools, and a high quality of living.

Buying or selling in a competitive market like Frisco takes local expertise, something offered by Ebby Halliday Realtors. They not only have an office at the corner of Legacy Drive and State Highway 121, but also have years of experience navigating Frisco luxury homes. That knowledge makes a huge difference.

The Starwood custom home at 5608 Monterey Dr. is an example of the kind of incredible properties Ebby Halliday can help buyers find in Frisco.

One of the fastest-growing cities in the nation, Frisco is an upscale DFW suburb with about 161,000 people, growing by over 127,000 people since 2000. Why are people flocking here? In a word: opportunity.

Frisco is known for highly rated and very desired schools, great family parks, and destination dining, retail, sports, and entertainment options. As the Frisco Economic Development Corporation says, the city is also a magnet for a skilled workforce who are contributing to Frisco’s rapid annual residential growth-rate of more than five percent.

Ebby Halliday Realtor Jane Yeatman of the Yeatman Team says location and schools are a huge draw for families.

“Strategically, the Dallas North Tollway intersects Frisco and the southern border is 121, so if you’re commuting, you’re on a highway fast,” Yeatman said. “There’s also a different school concept in Frisco ISD — we’ve got nine high schools compared to a similarly sized city with three — and in a recent report, quite a few schools in the district were on a ‘best in Texas’ list.”

She also mentions the strong business culture of the city and increasing (and impressive!) changes. The $5-billion mile, for example, includes four mixed-use developments and more than $5 billion in capital investment. One famous development in it is the Cowboys world headquarters at the The Star.

Ebby Halliday has Realtors like Yeatman on the ground every day in the city and they’ve got the temperature on the market. These experts know neighborhoods and can help homebuyers find their perfect Frisco home. Let’s take a look at three houses that show off the best of the city.

Kristi Davis

Take one look at her and you can tell why everyone loves Kristi Davis: she’s gorgeous, full of fun and energy, and one of the hardest-working Realtors in North Texas.

Which is why Ebby Halliday has just appointed Kristi Davis sales manager of its bustling Frisco Office.

“Kristi brings extensive sales and management experience, as well as a strong desire to assist our Frisco agents in taking their careers to the next level,” says Mary Frances Burleson, president and Chief Executive Officer.  “A recipient of the Easterwood Cup Broker/Manager of the Year Award presented by the MetroTex Association of REALTORS®, Kristi offers a long history of distinguished service to our industry and community.”

A Dallas-Fort Worth native, Davis has been in real estate since 2002. Having been a top-producing agent she understands the life of a REALTOR®, the ebbs and flows of the industry, and the importance of lead generation.

“I am confident Kristi’s background will serve her well in our Frisco Office,” says Betty Misko, executive vice president and director of sales offices for the Ebby Halliday Companies. “She has an innate understanding of how agents learn, grow and prosper.”

Speaking of growth, Ebby Halliday is opening up FIVE (5!) new offices this year in Prosper, a second Rockwall office, and Cedar Creek Lake. A new office is coming to the existing Allen Ebby office, and Williams Trew, an Ebby Halliday Company, is opening an Aledo office.

Kristi formerly managed Ebby’s Irving and Flower Mound/Lewisville offices. (more…)

Charles Wanda

When Wanda Charles met Terri Macaluso, she was at a crossroads in her career. She’d climbed to the top 1 percent of agents in Collin County, but was ready to set her sights on the next mountaintop.

“I was at a point in my career where I was starving for leadership,” Charles said. “Terri outlined what Ebby Halliday had to offer: No. 1 market share in Dallas-Fort Worth by a wide margin, industry-leading education and technology, a laser focus on supporting agents, and a caring culture of giving back to our community. It didn’t take long to realize that Ebby offers everything it takes to elevate an agent’s career to the highest level.”

Charles, who has 12 years of experience in residential real estate, couldn’t be more thrilled to join the Frisco office of Ebby Halliday Realtors. She has a track record of success, winning Rookie of the Year and the Quality Service Award for 100 percent client satisfaction in her first year as an agent.

“Simply put, Ebby Halliday is a powerhouse,” Charles said. “The tools they offer, the professional atmosphere and the amazing support staff – I knew all of these things would not only benefit me, but more importantly, would benefit my valued clients.”

Starwood Frisco

Judi Wright of Ebby Halliday Frisco has listed this beautifully-landscaped, nearly 8,000-square-foot home at 5008 Monterey Drive in the elite Starwood community for $2.3 million, and you’ve got to see the little extras it has inside.

First off, Jerry Jones’ Blue Star neighborhood of Starwood, just minutes from Plano and Frisco’s corporate headquarter alley, is the kind of luxury you’d expect from the magnanimous Cowboys owner. The 550-acre master-planned, 24-hour guard gated community of 900-plus families offers homes priced from $300,000 to more than $5 million. Wright tells us Monterey Drive is the premier street in this neighborhood with beautiful homes, lush landscaping, and nice topography in the community.

In today’s Agent Migration column, Susan Ferguson comes home to Ebby Halliday. Did you make a big move? Contact Joshua Baethge.

Susan Ferguson has returned to the Ebby Halliday Frisco office after less than a year away.  She was welcomed back with open arms.

“We are thrilled to have her back,” Ebby Halliday Frisco Sales Manager Kristi Davis said. “There was so much buzz and enthusiasm around the office. We were excited to welcome her home.”

Davis added that Ferguson’s energy in the office was sorely missed. Younger agents should also learn a few things from observing her interactions with clients and her commitment to service.
