The Secret is Out on Hidden Road

Share News:

Hidden Road in the Rivercrest neighborhood of Fort Worth is a street that needs explaining.

In the Fort Worth high-end luxury market there is a difference between exclusive and… (ahem)… EXCLUSIVE.

It’s one thing for a large home to be in a gated community and have plenty of nice amenities and features and cost a king’s ransom.

It’s another thing for a home to be located on a street whose name alone comes with an understanding of luxury, exclusivity, and being one of a kind.  In Fort Worth, one of those streets is Hidden Road.

Welcome to Hidden Road

If you aren’t aware of where Hidden Road is located in Fort Worth, there’s a reason for that … it’s hidden!

Literally, the road is a mystery.  You hear it mentioned and others talking about it, but you just can’t seem to find it when driving around.

Hidden Road is found through Rivercrest Country Club and Alta Drive (another street with panache).  Yes I said “through.” You actually drive through the Club to get to Alta then you will find Hidden Road.

Across the road from 1000 Hidden Road is the River Bend Nature Area and access to the Trinity Trails

Unlike many streets in Fort Worth, Hidden Road isn’t curbed or manicured and isn’t very wide.  It is a steep winding road that dead ends into a remote area of the Trinity Trails and River Bend Nature Area.

Where the Hidden Road curves to become Hidden Lane you will find 1000 Hidden Road.

Built in 1978, this one-owner property is a fascinating soft contemporary home measuring close to 3,900 square feet with three bedrooms and three and one half bathrooms.

Elevated ceilings, beautiful stone work, tons of natural light make this home very welcoming

I know you’re thinking, “A three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home for $1.3 million?”  Ahhhh … but remember, this is Hidden Road.  This is an opportunity that doesn’t come around very often.

The home is surrounded by beautiful trees, and a rocky creek also runs behind the property.

It has an Aspen-like quality and feel to it that makes it feel like a hidden retreat.

Home has ski-in/ski-out feel of Fort Worth chalet – notice all vegetation is maintenance free!

Imagine The Possibilities

This opportunity should be considered not only for what it is and where it is…but what it can be.  For someone to purchase and take the time and effort to really knock it out and update would turn it into an absolute masterpiece.

Carpet in master bathroom isn’t quite as en vogue as in 1978 – but the space in master bath is HUGE and could be stunning!

Take the master bathroom for instance.  While brown shag carpet can be quite fetching, it’s not the most appealing material for a bathroom flooring in 2018.  However, the area of the master bathroom is HUGE!

Someone with taste and style will take this room and transform it into a mystical and zen-like spa retreat.

This property will soon be owned by the right buyer with the vision to make 1000 Hidden Road a thing of updated beauty.
