An “O” House is a home so fabulous you have to drop whatever you are doing (yeah, even that) or holding, including your nail file, to look!

Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones, son of Jerry and Gene, and wife Karen Gayle (Hickman), have listed their 10,543 square foot home, simply stunning, on a super desire-able corner lot, to sell with Allie Beth Allman. The price tag is a whopping $11.5 million, the location one of the very best in Highland Park: 3900 Miramar.

The home is  a stately Georgian built in 1996. But don’t let those Potomac River-esque dentils fool you. 3900 Miramar has been updated to the max with the very best of everything. And I love the juxtaposition of classic with clean. Karen Jones’ soft neutral touch in interior decor blows this house up and and out to AT&T Stadium in Arlington in terms of polish.

But before we go into the delicacies of the house, wanted to draw your attention to this little blurb in 24/7 WallStreet, a financial news and opinion site which claims its articles “are republished by many of the largest news sites and portals, including MSN Money, Yahoo! Finance, MarketWatch, Time.com, USAToday, and The Huffington Post.”

I knew of the listing, of course, but had to chuckle when I saw it written up on this site:

The house sits in Highland Park, which has a number of multi-million dollar homes. The neighborhood is just north of Dallas, about 25 miles from AT&T Stadium where the Cowboys play. At least Jones does not have a brutal commute.

I know it’s confusing to those who do not live here, but Highland Park is surrounded by Dallas, not north of it. Frisco, where the Cowboys will practice, is north of Dallas. And the commute to AT&T Stadium is brutal, getting more brutal every day.

But the author, Douglas A. McIntyre, is right: Highland Park indeed has a number of multi-million dollar homes, sure thing! And this one, like I said, knocks it way out of the football stadium.

First of all, the lot: oversized at .56 an acre, on the corner, loaded with huge trees. There is setback. There is a large stone patio protected by the house, almost enveloped by it, for privacy — even though you won’t need it on this part of Miramar. Then there is a gorgeous pool, plus a covered outdoor living area.

The home is a story in creamy white carrera marbles and cream beige. From the foyer to the formal living room, to the huge gourmet kitchen with the latest, most updated appliances, huge counter slab, soft whites and beige tones prevail. Deep polished parquet wood floors in a Chantreuse pattern are carried throughout the house. Stephen’s office and pub is another story: rich, dark mahogany woods, floor to ceiling book cases, display cases for trophies, and a custom wood floor pattern. Every NFL executive needs a pub in his home office — imagine the deals that have gone down here!

There is a huge bedroom downstairs, but it appears the master is up: the Jones have four children and knowing what a tight knit family they are, they probably wanted to be near their kids. Feast your eyes on that master closet from heaven. There are five bedrooms upstairs plus a large playroom/den. The home has six full sized baths, two half baths, four living areas and there are three stories.

You can see why Allie Beth has it priced at $11.5 million which, we all hope it fetches because that will take us to $1090 a square foot in HP, new record.

Now where are they going? Is Stephen moving further north? Like to Beverly? Why are they leaving this scrumptious home? Stay tuned, as we inquiring real estate cerebrals try to KEEP UP WITH THE JONESES!3900 Miramar landing

Stunning! Who did the interior design? I am in love with all of their beds! Sherry Hayslip?

And according to Candy, the fixed price for selling a home is now $5, 000.

Was that the commission agreed upon for this starter home?
