Tyler Seguin Home

Oh my Stars! Here’s a listing that got my attention: 6424 Mimosa Lane, hockey phenom Tyler Seguin’s home!  It’s just your average 24-year-old sports superstar’s 7,250-square-foot abode, and a typical gig for the listing agent, Julie Provenzano, broker associate with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate, who’s become something of a superstar herself as the official real estate agent of the Dallas Stars.

Here are details on this knock-out Preston Hollow property you can tour at an open house event, Sunday, Oct. 23, from 1 to 3 p.m., and how Provenzano came to be in her role with the team: (more…)

Are you listening to Your Mama? Well you should, because that savvy and sharp house hunter shares her expert opinion (and wit!) on Dallas Stars hockey player Louis Ericksson’s Preston Hollow mansion.

We talked about the wallpaper, which can sometimes cause mixed feelings. You know, like this:

A fireplace centrally set into a paneled wall anchors the living room end of the capacious space and two walls in the dining room are slathered in an over-scaled red, white and pink floral print wallpaper that Your Mama really wants to detest, believes we really should loathe and would never, in a million years install in our own home but none-the-less inexplicably—and much to our own decorative chagrin—sort of has a cotton for.

What do you think?

Bloomberg is reporting that Chuck Greenberg, former CEO and co-owner of The Texas Rangers, has come forward to say he may want to bid on the bankrupt Dallas Stars Hockey franchise, according to a lawyer. This cannot be, not that Greenberg wouldn’t be a terrific owner. But Vancouver-based businessman Tom Gaglardi is pre-approved, and if he moves to Dallas, he’ll have to buy a home or two here. I’m thinking Preston Hollow.

Grenberg already lives here.
