When creating the spreadsheet for judging CandysDirt.com’s The Sweetest Homes in Dallas-Fort Worth, we input every home nominated and added a link to the listing. Each judge looked at the photos and put their honest comments into the appropriate column.

What we didn’t anticipate was that this Tatum Brown new construction at 3917 Centenary would knock the socks off of everyone.

Here is an insider look at some of them and I’ll let you figure out who said what!

“I LOVE THIS HOUSE! It does have everything, and the detail is absolutely fantastic.”

“It’s a Tatum Brown, which tells you that this house is going to be AMAZING. TBH, this is my favorite so far. Huge spaces that still feel intimate, gorgeous kitchen, killer built-ins, stunning light fixtures.”

“THIS IS HOUSE PORN.”

“Damn, that is a cool house!”

“Gorgeous!” That attic room is genius!”

“The creativity and detail of materials is haute, Tatum Brown!”

And you know how hard it is to impress this team, but impressed we were.

Because we judged each home on its own merit, we tried hard not to let the fact that Tatum Brown is known for the highest quality, never missing a detail, and always being a step ahead of the industry in general, sway us. But it was hard. Of course, the design by M-Gray Architecture and the custom interiors by Shelby Wagner added into this house being a shoo-in for one of our Sweetest Home selections.

It’s also located on one of the sweetest blocks in University Park. If you’re building in the Park Cities, you better have plenty of room for kids because people move here for the schools. This home is the perfect size for a family at 7,057 square feet, with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a powder bath, an elevator, an attic room we were captivated by,  a sports court, a private terrace, a pool, and incredible outdoor entertaining. There’s even low-maintenance turf!

Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s listing agent Justin Farmer submitted this sweet home because he loved the Tatum Brown construction. It was a custom build for his seller, and this is the first time it’s been on the market.

Well, it didn’t stay on the market long. Farmer sealed the deal on it just recently to absolutely no one’s surprise!
