For the 12th annual White Rock Home Tour, Hexter Elementary’s PTA has pulled out all of the stops. The tour, which runs from noon to 5 p.m April 22 and 23, will feature the second Cliff Welch-designed home in as many years, as well as a classic midcentury modern nestled in the forest. To tour this epic collection of homes, you can thrown down $15 in advance or $20 at the door — all of it going to Dallas ISD’s Hexter Elementary School.

The home tour is sponsored by a bevy Realtors, including David Griffin & Co. agents David Collier and Jennifer Rice, and Brandon Stewart.

And Ed Murchison, a Virginia Cook agent who also supports his local home tour — the Modern Mile home tour — is a sponsor as well.

“As a Realtor specializing in modern homes, the White Rock Home Tour is a perfect fit for me and I am proud to sponsor this event every year,” Murchison said. “When I have families that need to balance their love of modern homes with the need for a good school for their children, Hexter Elementary is often the first area I show them.”

The Eustis, Clearbrook, and East Lake Highlands houses are really intirguing. I want to see more of all of them and can’t wait for the tour.
