Why This Guy Needs a 10,000 Square Foot, Multi Million Dollar Mansion in Dallas

This is Barry Lacina, and he’s a guy you really want to know if you have a mansion because he can make it famous.
Barry is a TV/Film location manager, who is currently working on an ABC studios pilot produced by Meaghan Oppenheimer and Reese Witherspoon. (Yes, THE Reese Witherspoon from Legally Blonde.)
Barry was also the location manager on the DALLAS series when it was on TNT. He found all the houses used in the series, including one I’m dying to show you on Shadywood.
Barry reached out to me last week before I hit the slopes of Utah (wait till I tell you about the Montage!) because he is seeking the perfect setting for a Dallas “billionaire’s mansion” in the script. Ideally, I guess, he’d like the Hicks-now-Beal estate, Crespi/Walnut Place. Or how about the Phillip Johnson home on Strait Lane? (Or is that too contemporary? Many billionaires have a contemporary streak.)
Strait Lane is really where he should be, especially if he needs a water park in the back yard. Barry agrees with me that Champ D’Or would be a perfect location, but it may be too far out for filming. I suggested Chad Schulin’s listing on 5139 Seneca, what else is out there that could fill the bill for a Dallas Billionaire’s home?
Museum Tower penthouse?
Interesting…Deion Sanders old pad in Prosper would have been ideal.
Maybe NBAs Kenyon Martin’s mansion in Dalworthington Gardens….or anything on Ranchero in Plano…..wait!!
