OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, Nov. 8, 1-3 p.m.

Listed for just under half a million bucks, the 1940s bungalow at 6426 Vickery Blvd. in East Dallas’ Lakewood Estates is simply marvelous. It’s a 2-2 with 1,792 square feet and some big renovations that give it an updated, Southwestern feel. OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, Nov. 8, 2-4 p.m.

What’s the best part of the house at 1419 Yakimo Dr.? Is it the gorgeous terraced backyard with a swimming pool and multiple wood decks? Or is it the location in North Oak Cliff’s Guggenheim Acres, near Kidd Springs Park, the Bishop Arts District, and the Kessler Theater? Maybe it’s the spacious house itself, a California Ranch with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a half bath, and 3,417 square feet.

Better check your GPS, or your Mapsco book, or your folding map–3826 Medallion Ln. is NOT in WEST DALLAS. Trinity Groves is in West Dallas, many miles away from this house. This house is in NORTHWEST DALLAS, as any graduate of Thomas Jefferson, W.T. White, Ursuline, Hockaday, Jesuit, etc. could tell you.

Thanks Bob, I think we just accidentally dropped the word “NORTH” from “WEST”, which I have added. We do not have copy editors and with writing 3000 words a day, sometimes we goof!
