Rogers Healy is known to attract clients with some celebrity status. Part of that is due to his rugged good looks and ubiquitous T shirts. He also hustles like crazy when it comes to his brokerage. The brand has made Healy a frequent visitor on network TV, though he still posts on the local Facebook yard sale pages, eliciting quite a few LOLs.

But what if the brokerage harnessed that power of celebrity and personality for good? That’s what Realtors Alex Prins and Ryan Schwartz aim to do with Adopt Fashion.

“The purpose of launching this initiative in support of Operation Kindness is to encourage pet adoptions by our city’s most exclusive clientele,” Prins noted. “We have invited over 500 VIP guests in hopes of raising up to $10,000.”

The event, which is 6:30 p.m. next Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Eberhard, will feature the designs of Stephen Goudeau on the catwalk accompanied by ready-to-adopt animals. Besides wine from Max’s Wine Dive, you can look forward to a silent auction, as well as rubbing elbows with some of the most fashionable animal lovers in Dallas.

“At Rogers Healy we enjoy finding homes for our clients,” Prins said. “Now we would like to give back and find shelter animals a home of their own.”
