This is happening more and more in Collin County and Denton County, where a home that is staged well and has all the fixin’s just doesn’t sit around on the market for long. This home at 1957 Hathaway Ln. in Frisco’s Westfalls Village was on the market for all of six days before it was under option contract. Congratulations to Tammy Martinelli of Vivo Realty Group on the quick sale!

The reason? It’s priced right, it’s move-in-ready, and it’s clean as a whistle. Jump to see more!

First off, this home has great drive-up! Isn’t it just adorable? It’s on the Denton County side of Frisco, and feeds into great schools. It’s also extremely accessible to the Dallas North Tollway. With more than 3,772 square feet including an open floorplan, a vaulted ceiling in the living room, a grand fireplace, a media room, and a pool for $399,900, it was sure to go fast! I mean, look! There’s still snow on the ground in the listing photos! That’s how fast this puppy sold!

I love the color in the formal living room and the master bedroom. It’s a wonderful, trendy blue-green that adds just the right amount of character without being distracting. This home has a lot of great features, including a spacious, open kitchen connecting the living areas to the breakfast room. There are plenty of windows letting in sunlight to both the first and second floors of this home. I love the hand-scraped hardwoods, but the faux venetian plaster and heavy light fixtures seem a little out of character for this home, which could transition to transitional easily.

There are four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath, plus a three-car garage in this home. The master suite has a five-piece bath and is practically huge, but feels smaller because of it’s linear floorplan. It’s on the first floor, a feature a lot of homebuyers are looking for. It opens to the patio with views of the pool through the atrium doors. And while the first floor does have hand-scraped hardwoods, I was disappointed to see carpet in the master bedroom. It would have given this 2004-built home a little less of a straight-from-the-builder vibe. That’s something the buyers can fix, though!

Upstairs you’ll find three more bedrooms, two more baths, a media room and a game room, plus a homework station. And did we mention the pool? Of course we did! What a great house in a great area, sold by a great agent!
