I am totally drawn to the tiny house movement! A friend of mine downsized to 350 square feet for a year or so and her tales of tiny living were fascinating–there’s no room for extraneous stuff, and clutter is enemy number one. But all I have to do is take a look at how poorly I manage my junk in just the bedroom to know I’m probably not cut out for small spaces.

Seriously,I could not do it. I think my car is 350 square feet and it’s so full of stuff I might need “just in case”: gloves, quarters, lip gloss, emery boards, hats, small lotion bottles, makeup, comfy flat shoes, umbrella, rain hat, jacket, biz cards and papers, tons of papers. Oh and now, thanks to the Dallas City Council, shopping bags!
