Deion Sander’s Prosper Mansion — Excuse Me, Lone Star on Preston — to be Auctioned by Concierge Auction, WITHOUT RESERVE!

Share News:

Deion Sanders rear exterior Oh boy, I guess that bed is included. We so predicted this, didn’t we?

Now it’s official: former Dallas Cowboys football star and perpetual Dallas legend  Deion Sanders‘ Prosper estate — the one sold to  Bloomfield Homes, Inc. out of Southlake — will head to the auction block with ZERO reserve on November 18.  ZERO! The deal will be done with super agent Jonathan Rosen of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty. Oh and the place has a name now: Lone Star on Preston. Kind of a nice ring, no?

Deion’s former home — he is currently living in Lake Ridge, and has tweeted that he closed on 106 acres to build it all over again — is a whopping 29,000 square feet on 9.4 acres. This is also the home he shared with his former wife, Pilar, and their children. It includes a regulation-sized indoor basketball court, a barber shop, bowling alley, huge media room, arcade with wet bar, indoor and outdoor pools with spas, a full-sized football field, tennis courts, sport courts, a 14-bay garage with two bays to fit a yacht or RV, luscious outdoors living with a full exterior kitchen, an 8-acre lake with a fountain and private lake that is stocked with Florida bass and catfish.

Wait, you say, I thought Deion’s home was on like 110 acres? Recall I told you that most of those were sold off, to be developed into luxury estate homes by Bloomfield.

Anyhow, Concierge got the auction and now they are taking this place into the end zone, hoping to score a major sale. Which they surely will do without a reserve.

Features: “soaring ceilings with large crown moldings, black granite details, marble inlay floors, multiple gas fireplaces, gold faux-finish walls, Brunelleschi and Bernini-inspired columns with Corinthian capitals (those are in the master), and circular rooms designs and walls of curved windows.”

The master bedroom features “a separate sitting area, glass wall rotunda with views of pool, extensive built-in cabinetry, custom circle bed with built-in headboard and side tables, black granite gas fireplace, and a walk out patio to outdoor entertainment.”

Yep, the bed’s included. Round sheets?

The master bathroom features “double entry glass doors, his-and-hers vanities with art deco in-layed cabinets and brass fixtures, black granite with gold and bronze flecks adorning the floors, counters, and walls, cut-glass chandelier and coordinating sconces, sunken-jetted tub, separate double-shower with body sprays and built-in television, gas fireplace with space for television above, two large skylights with custom etched windows, his-and-hers custom closets with vanities, shared private Asko laundry, kitchenette with stovetop and fridge within, a spiral staircase to second level of closet and access to private 2-car master garage.”

Concierge is making quite a name for itself in Dallas real estate. These are the folks who sold off 6508 Old Gate in Kings Gate and The M Mansion up there on the North Dallas Forty. Oh my God, how can I forget — clearly too many Mojitos — they also sold Champs D’Or. Oh and 6001 Kettering Court, the golf house palace of pro golfer Lanny Watkins.

The pad was once listed for upwards of $12.9 million. Deion’s former home is on the Collin County Appraisal District books now for just over $11.7 million, if that gives anyone a starting hint.

Tempting, isn’t it? I mean, what if you could pick up the former home of Deion Sanders for maybe $2.5 million? That’s the stuff real estate dreams are made of!

Here’s the release from Concierge Auctions. Though there is no reserve, don’t think anyone will buy this home for as little as one dollar. A minimum price will be set. You need $100,000 to bid. See you at the auction!
