If you want an architect that is going to design and build an exceptional home, one that is designed to emulate the pinnacle of historic style, you can’t do much better than Jeff Fairey and Vintage Contemporaries. Fairey, a builder who doesn’t compromise on design and materials, is known for his Vintage Place development — a group of amazing spec homes inside Lakewood built to feel as if they’d always been there. And here is a rare opportunity to own a Vintage Contemporaries masterpiece: A Clifford D. Hutsell-esque Spanish Eclectic at 3624 Vintage Place. This incredible home is a masterful melding of modern amenities and historic styling. Listed with David Bush of David Bush Realtors, you can own this beauty for less than $1 million. 3624 Vintage Place Porch 3624 Vintage Place Foyer Built in 2001, 3624 Vintage Place is a gorgeous Spanish Eclectic with a Southwest feel on a cul-de-sac just yards from Lakewood’s famed Bob-O-Link Drive. The clay tile roof, stone cladding, and soft stucco exterior – all visible from the beautiful drive-up — transport you to a much more elegant time. Fairey, a man of details, included some amazing architectural touches. Mosaic tiles around the front doors emulate Hutsell’s playful use of materials. The wrought-iron stair rail is gorgeous and sets the mood, which is emphasized by the light and ambiance from the chauffeured ceiling. 3624 Vintage Place Family 3624 Vintage Place Family 2 3624 Vintage Place Living There are some details that give this home a Fooshee and Cheek feel, such as the wrought-iron hardware and wide moulding, but the home is distinctly Fairey, especially considering the seamlessly integrated modern amenities. Multiple living spaces, two gorgeous fireplaces, a wet bar, and a well-appointed kitchen make this a home where you can move in and breathe deep — there is nothing that needs to be done. And at a recently reduced $950,000, it’s a fantastic investment thanks to its sturdy build. You’ll fall in love with the stained concrete floors and the hardwoods, and the incredible cabinetry in the kitchen, as well as the stainless steel appliances in the kitchen from Thermador. The island is perfect for extra prep space, and the cooktop is a professional-grade range that will help you create amazing meals. The breakfast area just off the kitchen is warm and informal, and there’s a formal dining area on the opposite side that is perfect for entertaining. 3624 Vintage Place Kitchen 3624 Vintage Place Breakfast 3624 Vintage Place Dining There are four bedrooms, three full and one half baths in this 3,350-square-foot home, and the master bedroom is the most perfect of them all. It is full of light thanks to the windows and French doors that lead to a private terrace. The built-in bookcase is a perfect spot to store your nighttime reading without crowding the bedside table. The vanity area is beautiful and shows off the arched doorways that are found throughout the home. The tile floor is warm, a perfect foil for the Shaker-style cabinetry. Marble countertops and a jetted tub with full-sized shower complete the perfect master bath, but you’ll be amazed by the walk-in custom closets and extra utility space. 3624 Vintage Place Master 3624 Vintage Place Master Bath 1 3624 Vintage Place Master Bath 2 But what I find most amazing about this home is its size and how it still feels so cozy, bringing the colors of the outdoors in while still having the feel of a larger, estate-sized lot. I think that has a lot to do with the well-planned outdoor spaces, which include a stone patio downstairs and that fantastic veranda off the master bedroom. Absolutely perfect, and a great price, too. 3624 Vintage Place Patio 3624 Vintage Place Backyard

Im so thrilled to see this property get this attention – one, because the praise for Jeff Fairy / Vintage Contemporaries is well deserved; and two because I worked with the two owners do design the landscape on this house, as well as most of the front yards on all but a couple Vintage Place homes ( as well as a few backyards – including pools designed for each, but most never built).

Working in the landscape design business, I see a lot of homes that are called “Custom” or the like, but few truly match the exception detail to which Jeff devotes to his homes.

This one should go very fast!
