Friday Five Hundred: Beautifully Updated Traditional in Royal Marsh Estates is Fit For a Duchess

3747 Duchess Front

Well, Duchess the Saint Bernard, that is! Duchess is a lovely gal who is up for pre-adoption with Dallas Pets Alive while she undergoes heartworm treatment. I’m sure this gorgeous girl who gives the best kisses would love this updated traditional at 3747 Duchess Trail inside Royal Marsh Estates. It is plenty large for a big girl like Duchess! This ranch has a huge backyard for play time and a fantastic bathtub for bathtime.

Duchess

“Duchess was owner surrendered to the Dallas Animal Shelter because she ‘got too big,'” said Cassie Evans, dog rescuer and Duchess’ foster. “Duchess is a gorgeous, pure-bred Saint Bernard with a heart of gold. She likes small dogs, friendly big dogs, cats, and nice kids.”

She sounds just perfect and she’d do so well inside 3747 Duchess Trail! This home is in a wonderful location for any family looking to be close to parks, shopping, and a short drive from downtown Dallas. This particular home, which has all the bells and whistles a family moving to Dallas would want, is marketed by Trophy Group Realtor Matthew Rice for $599,890 and has only been on the market for 27 days.

So, what do you get for the money? Almost everything most buyers are asking for these days, that’s what. Inside this 3,300-plus-square-foot ranch you get four bedrooms, three full and one half baths, a three-car garage, a huge livingroom with a fireplace, hardwood floors, new tile, granite, counters, stainless steel and huge windows, all practically brand new from T2 Construction. We’ve featured one of this company’s projects before and they pull no punches!

I love the dark hardwoods and dove-gray paint, as well as the smart stone-covered fireplace and expansive deck. The kitchen has a great layout, with an pass-through to the living room and a great breakfast area as well as bar seating. The vaulted ceilings make the home feel grand and large. This home is great for entertaining, which makes it perfect for an executive relocating to Dallas who wants a move in-ready, no-fuss home that can hit the ground running.

Of course, if you’re trying to keep up with your expanding family and want a home that can accommodate kids, dogs, and still manage a little privacy for you and your significant other, then you’ll adore this oversized master suite. The bedroom alone clocks in at a huge 21 x 15, and the five-piece master suite features a free-standing soaking tub and a frameless glass shower, as well as a huge double vanity. There’s plenty of closet space, too. With this layout, you can live like royalty for sure.

And the backyard, well, it’s perfect for kids and for Duchess! It’s fully fenced in and has mature trees that provide a cooling canopy during our hot summers. And check out that cool deck! All you need is a table and a grill and you’ve got a great spot to unwind with family and a place to get to know your neighbors. And Duchess will be neighborhood royalty for sure! If you want to adopt this sweetie, apply at Dallas Pets Alive today!

Great house. I grew up by there and lived near there for a long time. What a fabulous renovation. There is no way whoever did it is straight! LOL. I’d want a wooden fence all along the back in that area.

I’m not sure which one I love more – the dog or the house!
