Love is in the air in the newly-renamed Lakewood Hills, or so Lakewood Realtor Scott Carlson tells me. He just closed 6929 Casa Loma Avenue for a record-breaking $799,000 – that’s $234 per foot.

Wowzers!

This Classic Georgian was restructured and redesigned by Angie Link of Transition Homes. Angie has a formula for success and is well known in Lakewood for her classic design and tasteful renovations with open floor plans and beautiful, timeless finish-out, says Scott.

“I sold the home immediately by co-brokering with long time Lakewood resident and agent Kate Looney Walters, who was a delight to work with,” says Scott.

The young, first-time home buyers are engaged to be married this coming July. There was so much joy and excitement with this transaction, says Scott, it was a perfect precursor to Valentine’s Day.

“A new home, bride and groom to be … and a wonderful new neighborhood in Lakewood by LCC and White Rock lake,” says Scott.

Located in Lakewood Schools, Scott says this most sought out neighborhood is going through a major transformation and redevelopment. The small cottages are being bought up by many, many builders. The neighborhood association has even changed it’s name from Gastonwood/Coronado Hills to the new Lakewood Hills! A picturesque walk through the middle of Lakewood County Club golf course to all the new restaurants and the historic Lakewood Theater makes this neighborhood extremely desirable. It is also only mere blocks to the new Lakewood YMCA currently under construction. Lakewood Hills is also located on the new SANTA FE bike trail.

The home came together beautifully with the young couple love, excitement and happiness.”

Of course, the home will be Ryan’s bachelor pad until the wedding, this being a classic old fashioned, soon-to-be couple they are living apart before their wedding. Quite Refreshing!

“I’m sure they will have an awesome honeymoon!” says Scott. “First thing on the wall: a flat screen tv!!! The rest will be all those registered gifts soon to arrive!”
