Beechwood Front

Built in 1951 and recently renovated, this Glenridge Estates Midcentury is just what you need to forget Icemaggedon 2013. Forget the crazy weather, broken limbs, insane wait times to talk to an Oncor representatives, and just grab a cup of coffee and think calming thoughts while you check out this gorgeous home.

Beechwood Entry Beechwood DiningWith three bedrooms and two full baths, 4016 Beechwood is great for anyone who wants to spread out without going too large. It has 1,788 square feet, a sizable living room, an updated kitchen, and a beautiful master bath. It’s listed by Dallas City Center Realtor Tony Nuncio for a recently reduced $349,900.

Right from the front door you can get the Midcentury vibe, especially with that awesome dining room set and the low-slung furniture in the living room. I love how open this home is, too, allowing the light from the French doors in the living room to really brighten the whole area.

The kitchen has key updates, including granite counters and stainless steel hardware. I love the eat-in bar, too, which keeps this galley layout from feeling claustrophobic. The kitchen has a back door that opens to a side deck, giving you access to the driveway so it’s easy to unload groceries.

The master bedroom may be a yawnfest, but the master bath is genuinely beautiful. Love the huge soaking tub and will you get a look at that full-sized shower, which has NO DOORS! LOVE IT! Imagine, you’ll never have to worry about soap scum or water spots on your bathroom glass!

I am a little bummed by the tiny vanity with only one sink. I like the choice of materials, but that is a little disappointing. I don’t think it would be difficult to put in a larger, two-sink vanity, though.

The backyard is just adorable, with a pergola and a lovely little stone path. I think this home just feels like spring, which I wouldn’t mind dreaming of right now. How about you?
