Tuesday Two Hundred: Adorable Traditional in Northwest Dallas is Stage For a Small Family
Share News:
Sometimes I love it when a family lists their home with tons of personal touches. For me, it allows me to see the home as it was intended — a place for a family to grow and make memories.
So when I happened upon this adorable home in Northwest Dallas, well, I was smitten. Located west of Midway Road and north of Walnut Hill is this cute traditional at 9921 Elmada Lane. The neighborhood, Midway Hollow, is growing in popularity with young families as it’s close to upwardly mobile public schools and outstanding private schools.
This home, with three bedrooms and two baths, is a great size for a family with a couple of kids. It has more than 1,900 square feet and a great sunroom from which you can see pretty much the entire backyard. It’s listed by Mysti Newberry Stewart of Dave Perry-Miller and Associates for $289,900.
Some cute touches you’ll appreciate include the very cozy living room, the blackboard paint in the adorable kitchen (so cute!) that opens up to the sizable family room, wainscotting in the dining room, and tailored Roman blinds in pretty much every room.
These owners really threw caution to the wind, though, and didn’t remove all toys from common areas like many stagers suggest. That’s fine with me, because I can totally picture my 2-year-old playing in this space.
The backyard is spacious and includes a concrete patio that will be great for grilling and hanging out this fall and winter with perhaps a fire pit or chiminea, whichever you prefer. What do you think?
A beautiful looking property. Was it staged? If yes, by whom?
