Step inside 6832 Westlake and you’ll be taken back decades. That’s thanks to this immaculately maintained property on one of the most sought-after blocks in Lakewood at Westlake and Velasco.
According to the listing from legendary civic booster and Ebby Realtor Mary Poss, this is a one-owner property that has never been on the market. What a fantastic opportunity, especially considering its price, which is almost $1.5 million after a $995,000 price cut.
This four-bedroom, four-bath traditional ranch built in 1959 covers a sprawling 5,954 square feet on a huge .69 acre lot. If you love a good time capsule, this home is for you! Below are a few of our favorite rooms, including a pink master bedroom that would make Betty Draper envious, and a lime-green conservatory-style bar that is so incredible it will tickle your eyeballs.
WOO HOO!, Everything old is new again. That study could actually work well today! I totally want those green chairs!

I love this house too! Folks, do you think the reason why 50's and 60's homes are making such serious comebacks is that they make us boomers all warm and fuzzy inside? I FEEL like I am at my aunt's house in that bedroom. That bedroom IS my aunt's house! That bar would be my mom's but she had orange everywhere, not lime. That office so reminds me of my father's… TIME WARP!

Karen's right… the study does work today. I love this property and it would be a fun place to personalize. Great location, too. A time warp can be a great thing.
