The Anderson Divorce: Could “Life’s Journey Ahead” Mean a Gorgeous New Listing in Williamsburg Estates?

6309 Wilderness extComes word that director of the Dallas Museum of Art Maxwell and his flamboyant, beautiful wife, Jacqueline Buckingham Anderson, are divorcing. You know Jacqueline: she posed for the Dallas Morning News in a provocative, page-grabbing pose in FD Luxe and always has the guys’ eyes glued to her at any  social event. My husband totally enjoyed meeting Jacqueline at a Dartmouth event at the DMA — Maxwell is a Dartmouth alum —  and I had to kind of say, um sweetheart, it’s time to leave now. Come on. BBye.Jaqueline Buckingham legs

In a beautiful FaceBook message, where I guess all divorces these days are announced, Jacqueline Buckingham (her maiden name) says the couple announces their split with “ongoing love and deepest mutual respect.” While Max stays on directing the DMA, Jacqueline apparently plans much travel to lecture and write a series of books on

“…this positive approach to evolving relationships and her own divorce process titled Separating into Wholeness: Revolutionary Relationships & Evolutionary Families. She is embarking on a book series and plans to teach and speak across the country. More information found at www.jacquelinebuckingham.com.”

Jacqueline is an actress with many credits to her name. Meantime, as always, we admire this couple’s maturity and candor and wish them well. I personally cannot stand these couples who flounder and say, “it’s complicated.”

We are, however, very interested in the Anderson homestead. Looks like Claire Dewar of Briggs Freeman was the Anderson’s agent when they bought their $1.5 million home in Williamsburg at Preston in November of 2012. Like, just last year. The 6,394 square foot home on one green acre has five bedrooms, five and a half baths, and a four-car garage space. The home was built in 1992 and is quite modern, surprise surprise. The open floor plan lends to a great entertainment flow and while the grounds are extensive, there is no pool. There is, however, an exercise room, library and game room.  I am quite in love with the huge master bath and those oceans of white Carrera marble everywhere. Love that master, too.

Keep in mind this is the way the home looked when it was listed with Dave Perry-Miller and Ryan Streiff last year. Now, we are sure, it has Jacqueline’s touch. Or Max’s.

Or actually, the way this home is styled, it appears BOTH could still live here under one roof Ewing-style and still be divorced, still provide a family structure for the kiddos, and still be able to work out on that gorgeous slate patio. Perhaps Separating into Wholeness will have a chapter or two on real estate?6309 Wilderness foyer 6309 Wilderness study 6309 Wilderness kit 6309 Wilderness master 6309 Wilderness mastrer bath 6309 Wilderness back
