Right here in my not-so-hot little hands. Now in case you did not do your duty to God and Texas this last weekend after you cleaned the turkey and made soup –that would be decorating the house for the holidays — I’ve got some holiday inspiration for you this weekend. It’s time for the 13th annual Holiday Home Tour presented by Gary Riggs Home benefiting New Friends, New Life,  on Sunday, December 2, 2012.

And I have Six lovely tickets.

Four GORGEOUS Park Cities homes will be open to the public for one of the most exciting home tours of the season. Proceeds go to a nonprofit organization that helps rescue and restore trafficked teen girls and sexually exploited women: New Friends, New Life.

NFNL helps victims overcome abuse, addiction and poverty and obtain education, job training, interim financial assistance and spiritual support. For more information about New Friends New Life, visit the agency’s website.

On tap are the homes of Steve and Jennifer Houghton at 7070 Turtle Creek Lane, Patty O’Neil at 3905 Potomac, Tom and Lori Reiesenbichler at 3501 Caruth, and Phinn and Mersina Stubbs at 3500 Southwestern. Their generosity in opening up their gorgeous homes to strangers is what makes the magic work.

Katie Pedigo, Executive Director of NFNL says, “On behalf of the women and children we serve, we are grateful for the Home Tour chairs, homeowners, sponsors, volunteers and participants for supporting this event. Women’s lives are transformed and families are restored because of community support which is displayed through the Holiday Home Tour.”

The homes will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. General admission tickets are $20 in advance, and $40 advance VIP tickets include transportation between homes. Tickets are available at select Tom Thumb stores, by visiting www.newfriendsnewlife.org or by phone 214-965-0935. General admission tickets will be available for $25 on the day of the tour and VIP tickets will be $50.

And of course, I have six tickets we will be giving away starting this very minute with set one: tell me the address of the home on Lupton Lakehurst (hint hint) that Kathy Ireland transformed on Tuesday night’s Million Dollar Decorator.
