Wishlist Wednesday: Modern Arlington Home Features Resort-like Amenitites
Share News:
I’m taking some classes over at UTA, so I thought I’d throw Arlington some love today. First of all, the house is HUGE. This jewel is 4,627 sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 half baths, so let’s just say you’ll have plenty of places to hide if you some “me time” away from the fam.
Listed at $725k by Nathan Neely and located inside a gated community with a private pond, pool, cabana AND dry sauna in the master, 2642 Hemingway Ct is like having your own mini resort.
There’s an amazing view onto the property from the living room, but I can’t tell because I’m just too distracted by that enormous Christmas tree. Oh, and the purple couches. Yikes. And if you’re like me and you don’t dig purple or the rest of the color palette from the early 90s, hold on to your hats.
Did I mention this place is beautifully landscaped and has a pond and a sauna?
Despite what the decor is screaming, this home was built in 2002. However, it’s nothing some paint and Z Gallerie can’t fix to bring you back into this decade. It’s been reduced from $799,000 to to $725,00 and is listed on TAD as being valued at $971,800. That’s a steal! So take your savings and go crazy—hire someone to decorate it for you. Meanwhile, you can always enjoy the view or a nice cold Mojito in the suana.
So glad you posted another great home from "out there"!

They do love their purple and while I don't find it too garish, it would get old soon. I could probably live with it just long enough to decide what colors, if any, I want in each room. Love the view of the backyard with it's privacy. Normally I wouldn't think of Arlington and a home like this, but this is a great find.
I have never understood why agents have pictures of the interior of the house with something like Christmas decorations. Doesn't look so inviting when it's July; just looks like a stale listing. But maybe that's just me. (or use photos with a date on them).

That red bathroom would evoke hysterical comments from my OB/GYN husband. He calls our red media room "The Placenta Room." Can't imagine what he'd say about the potty!
