Monday Morning Millionaire: Lakewood Living Like New, But You’d Never Know it!

Share News:

Happy first day of school, folks! I know you’re excited to send your boys and girls off to class, so I’ll give you something to read while you’re anxiously waiting to get out of the carpool lane.

This week’s Monday Morning Millionaire is a Tudor built in 2008, but I was totally fooled, y’all! I thought this baby, with it’s stone and brick facade, was more than 80 years old, at least!

“WOW! They did a bang-up job restoring this place!” I said to myself when I browsed the photos of 7242 Lakewood. But this home, which is in the Lakewood Elementary, Long Middle School, and Woodrow Wilson High School attendance zones, is less than 5 years old. And at $1.895 million, it’s a decent deal, too.

What you’ll love most about this house, I think, at least, is the upstairs balcony. It’s so huge!

Other cool features: Practically brand new gourmet kitchen with marble counters; huge master bathroom with dressing area; five gigantic bedrooms and five and a half baths; coved ceilings; and a super dramatic staircase in the foyer that accentuates some killer herringbone hardwood floors.

This beauty is marketed by the Jackson Team at Dave Perry-Miller and Associates, y’all! Now do your homework!

I have a friend moving here from San Miguel de Allende, MX and he has two kids, needs a $3500 per month rental and I totally think he'd love Lakewood. He's heard about HPISD ad naseum so anywhwere else (including Lakewood) is a hard sell!
