Wishlist Wednesday: This Park Estates Home is the Total Package

Share News:

Admittedly, I’m a sucker for Ranch-styles, and this 1950 ranch-style, recently remodeled by Bella Vista Construction, has me drooling. I will dream about this kitchen tonight. It’s equipped with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, beautiful hardwood floors and plenty of natural light. Love the contrast of the industrial stove, barn wood island and industrial pendant lights.

I remember when my partner and I were on the hunt for our first house. It was a grueling process; we must have looked at more than 50 houses over two months. But when we finally walked into our current home, we both knew “this is it.” I got the same feeling when I looked at this house. My second dream home is at 6228 Worth Street and lists for $899,900 by George Hayes. This house is the total package.

The bathroom countertops are marble, and the master bath features a separate shower and clawfoot tub.

At 4,651 sq ft, this 4 bedroom, 3.2 bathroom home has very open floorplan. There are hand-scraped hardwood floors throughout, as well as the original cedar paneling in the second living area (hand cut, milled and transported by the original owner from Wyoming).

Another one of my favorite things about this home is this 1,000 sq ft family room that opens to backyard.

The home sits on a double, one-acre lot and has stayed in the same family since 1950.

I was scrounging in my chair cushions for the cash to make this sale happen, but all I found was 78 cents.

Like the kitchen, but I'm all about the kitchen. I'm wondering if they stained the harlequin pattern on the wood floor or did they use 2 different woods in that pattern. Love the look it gives.
