Friday Five Hundred: 6233 Goliad Might Take No Prisoners, But Reduced to $549K, It’s Getting an Army of Interest for Super Bowl Sunday

This is a practically brand new Lakewood Heights home that has just gone on the market. If you like new Craftsman construction, and I do, you will LOVE this. I am also obsessed with the rock that was chosen for interior accents and exteriors. Love the wood floors, too. The 3700 plus square foot home was built three years ago by a local investment group who then leased it for three years. Look what all you get at this price PLUS new construction: five bedrooms, three and a half baths, covered old-style front porch screaming for a swing, The open entry leads to a formal dining room and private study with double doors. Down the entry hall is the island kitchen with granite counters and top shelf stainless appliance package, walk-in pantry and butler’s pantry. The Big O — that’s oversized breakfast room, slate tile flooring, den with that yummy stone fireplace. Nice wet bar between den and study. Front and/or rear staircase up to a spacious master bedroom on the second level with nice master bathroom, separate tub and shower, and two large walk in closets. Jack and Jill bath in between two of the secondary bedrooms, bedrooms four and five have access to the hall bath. There is also a play area with balcony, stairs down to the back yard. Also an attached, two car, side entry garage is at rear of home and great outdoor fireplace. Was asking $565,000, just reduced and ready for battle: the home will be open this Sunday, February 5, one to three pm BEFORE the game!

Ok CD is no Halfway House! Thanks for the alert. They just dropped the price. Should they have done so sooner? Let's talk about why this place isn't selling. What's wrong with it if anything?

      Price: $549,000
      $16,000 on 10/22/11

So 3.5 months ago they dropped the price – I think the stone on the outside is strange, and the backyard has an odd 'green square' off the patio – it's a big place, and I love the finish out, master bath is very narrow, like a hallway….
