Karen here, piping in with my thoughts on where Khloe and Lamar are going to need a crib, ha, maybe even a REAL crib! Candy’s been shopping in Uptown and Preston Hollow, well, let’s not forget the most important part of town, East Dallas! I’ve got the purrrfect house for Khloe, one that comes loaded with just what she needs in her life: drama. Khloe is known for loving the “glam-traditional” look, so we here at CandysDirt think Bella Nora would be the perfect fit. That Kardashian penchant for living large could not have a better setting than this Dallas landmark.

“Bella Nora could be Khloe’s next television show,” agent Viki White said. White has the listing for the 1929 Greek Revival mansion, on the market after a breather and a considerable freshening up of the historic Dallas home.

“With Khloe and her family in there, we could even get HGTV to do a show on the renovation. It would be a huge hit, and Khloe would be beyond famous for taking Bella Nora back to its original grandeur.”

Seriously. A move to Bella Nora just might bust Khloe ahead of the Kardashian pack and turn her into the next Martha Stewart selling wallpaper, sheets, housepaint. We can see her gliding down the sweeping staircase as the show opens and pointing out why homes need imported Austrian chandeliers (Bella Nora has twelve) and secret passages (Bella Nora has those too!).

Just don’t lock your mom in one of them, Khloe.

Of course the mansion is a Dallas icon, which is appealing enough, but the love story connected to it is what creates the real magic. It was purchased by Dr. Jesus S. Guevara, a prominent surgeon from Mexico City, as a gift for his wife, Joan Simpson of Dallas, who had always loved the house and wanted to live in the landmark. Dr. Guevara told her he’d arranged for a tour of it and when they walked in, turned and handed her the key. Now that’s just the sort of karma you need when you move to a new city!

Bella Nora has been off the market for a year and only recently become available again.
